About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Opus Technology. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and developing new business opportunities for our Mobile Networks division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and gross profit targets
  • Generate own leads and manage a sustainable pipeline of sales opportunities
  • Work closely with the Sales Director for Mobile to agree sales and marketing strategies
  • Achieve KPIs including number of appointments set, calls made, proposals delivered, and conversion rates
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to identify new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with junior sales consultants to leverage them as a source of new business leads
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience in self-generating leads and sustaining a pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets in the Telecoms or Mobile sector
  • Demonstrable client-facing skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of successful development strategies
  • Experience working with a variety of clients in an SME/Major environment
  • Highly focused and goal-oriented, with a strong work ethic
