Trust Governance and Engagement Officer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Governance and Membership Engagement Officer to join our team at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the Corporate Affairs team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Trust's governance and membership functions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support and advice to the Council of Governors, its Committees, and membership within the Trust's legal and regulatory framework. You will also be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the Corporate Affairs service, including facilitating Board level meetings and providing advice and support as required to both the team and stakeholders.
This role requires a high level of organizational skill and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in line management, meeting planning, and record management.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day running of the Corporate Affairs service, including facilitating Board level meetings and providing advice and support as required to both the team and stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support and advice to the Council of Governors, its Committees, and membership within the Trust's legal and regulatory framework.
- Ensure suitable systems and processes are in place for the recording and archiving of records.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A-C (English language essential) or equivalent qualification.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
The salary for this role is £38,000-£48,000 per annum, depending on experience.
