We are seeking a skilled and dedicated bank nurse to join our team at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a flexible and motivated individual to work as part of our bank nursing staff. As a bank nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting the delivery of services across our wards and departments.

Main Duties
  • Assess patients' needs and develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care.
  • Organise the delivery of nursing care, deploying staff effectively.
  • Communicate changes to patient information and treatment plans to team members.
  • Acknowledge and adhere to NMC standards of record keeping.
  • Contribute to the day-to-day management of the Directorate and participate in education and training of junior staff.
  • Involving patients/carers in the planning and delivery of care.
  • Participate in clinical supervision.
Requirements
  • RGN with current NMC Registration
  • Excellent standards of nursing care
  • Experience in nursing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Awareness of Health and Safety / Clinical Governance issues
  • Basic IT skills, including e-mail and word processing
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
  • High level of personal & professional credibility
