Job Title: Environmental/Town Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental/Town Planner to join our Planning and Environment Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on planning and environmental matters to a variety of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing advice and guidance on planning and environmental matters to clients throughout all stages of the planning process
  • Shaping and assessing the case for development projects, including determining planning strategies, site appraisals, and pre-application consultation
  • Preparing planning applications and appeals, and managing the planning project lifecycle
  • Liaising with external parties, including developers, landowners, architects, engineers, local authorities, and the wider multi-disciplinary team
  • Team supervision and advice
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree and strong track record working on medium/large-scale planning projects
  • High level of technical competency, and quality of work, together with good analytical, communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
  • Ability to manage your own time and workload within tight timescales, and problem-solving skills
