We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Planning and Environment professional to join our team at Wardell Armstrong. As a key member of our Planning and Environment Team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our clients' projects and contributing to the success of our business.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Planning and Environment professional to join our team and work on a wide range of projects, including renewable energy, waste management, and major infrastructure developments. You will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on planning and environmental matters to our clients, as well as shaping and assessing the case for development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on planning and environmental matters to clients
  • Shaping and assessing the case for development projects, including determining planning strategies and site appraisals
  • Preparing planning applications and appeals, as well as coordinating in-house and external technical teams
  • Liaising with external parties, including developers, landowners, architects, engineers, and local authorities
  • Team supervision and advice
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a relevant degree and a strong track record of working on medium to large-scale planning projects. You will also need to demonstrate a high level of technical competency, as well as good analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
