Job Title: Environmental/Town Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental/Town Planner to join our Planning and Environment Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on planning and environmental matters to a variety of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shaping and assessing the case for development projects, including determining planning strategies and site appraisals.
  • Preparing planning applications and appeals, and coordinating in-house and external technical teams.
  • Liaising with external parties, including developers, landowners, architects, engineers, local authorities, and the wider multi-disciplinary team.
  • Team supervision and advice.
Requirements:
  • A relevant degree and a strong track record working on medium/large-scale planning projects.
  • High level of technical competency, and quality of work, together with good analytical, communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage your own time and workload within tight timescales, and ability to problem-solve.
