Dynamic Practitioner Psychologist for Cystic Fibrosis Service

We are seeking a skilled Practitioner Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at King's College Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering specialist applied psychology services in the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Service, providing psychological assessment, treatment and monitoring of outcomes.
Main Responsibilities- Contribute to the delivery of a specialist applied psychology service in the Kings College Hospital Adult Cystic Fibrosis Service.
- Provide specialist psychological assessment, treatment and monitoring of outcomes, focusing on the identification and treatment of psychological issues which have negative impacts on adherence to treatment plans, and on more general physical and psychological well-being.
- Offer clinical consultation and supervision to other members of the Adult CF multidisciplinary team in relation to psychological aspects of patient care.
- Take a role in service evaluation, audit, research, teaching and policy development.
- Work at appropriate levels of independence, following clinical guidelines and the policies and procedures of the service, and seeking help from clinical/professional supervisor or manager as required.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced psychologist to join our team and contribute to the growth of the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Service. As a full-time Band 7 Practitioner Psychologist, you will work alongside colleagues from other disciplines, including medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, dietetics and social work.
The successful candidate will have experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of patients with physical health problems, as well as knowledge of legislation related to client groups and mental health issues. They will also have a doctoral-level understanding of psychological research methodology and complex statistical analysis.

Salary InformationThe salary for this position is expected to be in the range of £54,320 - £60,981 per annum, depending on experience. Please note that this is an estimated figure based on national averages and may vary depending on individual circumstances.
