About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safeguarding Officer to join our dynamic team at Lincolnshire County Council. As a Safeguarding Officer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding adults and promoting their well-being.

Main Responsibilities

As a Safeguarding Officer, you will work under the leadership of Safeguarding Principal Practitioners to perform statutory safeguarding duties set out in the Care Act 2014. You will be responsible for assessing and managing risk, ensuring plans are in place to promote wellbeing, safeguard, and support the outcomes of people experiencing abuse or neglect.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must hold a professional Social Work, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy qualification and have maintained professional registration with the relevant professional body. You will also need to have some post-qualifying practice experience and a secure, sound understanding, knowledge, and experience within the adult safeguarding arena, including S42 enquires, MSP, and the Care Act 2014.
