Job Purpose:

To provide high-quality company secretarial support to a portfolio of client companies, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing routine company secretarial support, including maintenance of statutory registers, preparation and filing of annual confirmation statements, and documentation related to transactions.
  • Management of work in progress and billing, under supervision.
  • Providing administrative support to the Corporate Secretarial team, including raising fee notes, Companies House filing, and lodging documents with HMRC Stamp Office.
  • Assisting with client take-on procedures, recording client opportunities, and preparing engagement letters.
  • Ensuring tasks are performed accurately and by required deadlines.
  • Communicating any problems in complying with instructions immediately to more senior personnel.

Personal and Professional Qualities:

The role requires an interest in Company Law, Company Secretarial Practice, or Anti-Money Laundering legislation, and a desire to develop a career in Company Secretarial Services.

Education to at least A Level standard or equivalent, with strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work on one's own initiative and as part of a team.
