Company Secretarial Support Role

To provide high-quality company secretarial support to a portfolio of client companies, ensuring timely and accurate maintenance of statutory registers and compliance with regulatory requirements.

As part of the Corporate Secretarial team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and administrative assistance, including preparation and filing of documentation, management of work in progress, and billing.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in Company Law, Company Secretarial Practice, or Anti-Money Laundering legislation and a desire to develop a career in Company Secretarial Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing routine company secretarial support to a portfolio of client companies.
  • Management of work in progress and billing.
  • Providing administrative support to the Corporate Secretarial team.
  • Assisting with client take on procedures, recording client opportunities, and preparing engagement letters.
  • Assisting with disengagement procedures relating to client companies that have been dissolved, transferred to new advisers, or placed in liquidation.
  • Sorting and distribution of client and departmental post.

Personal and Professional Qualities:

  • An interest in Company Law, Company Secretarial Practice, or Anti-Money Laundering legislation.
  • Education to at least A Level standard or equivalent.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to work on one's own initiative and as part of a team.

RSM Policies and Procedures:

The role requires compliance with RSM policies and procedures at all times, including document retention and destruction.
