Programme and Training Coordinator

The NHS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Training Programme Director - Teaching Lead Anaesthesia. This position will play a crucial role in delivering excellence in teaching and training courses for the North West (Manchester) Rotation.
The successful candidate will lead the development of the School's Teaching Programme, ensuring high-quality teaching and training for trainees on the North West (Manchester) rotation. They will work closely with the Head of School of Anaesthesia/Associate Head of Anaesthesia and local trainers and trainees to achieve this goal.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Collaborating with the Head of School of Anaesthesia/Associate Head of Anaesthesia to ensure high-quality teaching and training for trainees on the North West (Manchester) rotation.
- Working with trainers and trainees to arrange and review feedback for courses, identifying areas for improvement and implementing positive changes.
- Supporting the Head of School to ensure high-quality teaching and training courses are available for trainees to support their postgraduate training.
- Creating and promoting shared learning opportunities to enhance effective inter-professional working across the school.
- Ensuring that all trainers and trainees have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality teaching and training courses.
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive training programme that meets the needs of trainees and the school.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical education, with experience in teaching, training, and programme development. They will possess excellent organisational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.
The successful candidate will be a member of the School Speciality Training Committee and will be responsible for contributing to the development of the school's training programme.
