Job Summary

The NHS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme and Training Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Anaesthesia Training Programme, you will play a vital role in delivering excellence in teaching and training courses.

As the Training Programme Director, you will lead on the development of our Teaching Programme and ensure that all trainers and trainees receive high-quality training and support.

You will work closely with our Head of School and local trainers to ensure that our teaching and training courses are of the highest standard.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and time management skills, as well as experience in recruitment and selection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Teaching Programme, ensuring that all trainers and trainees receive high-quality training and support.
  • Work closely with the Head of School and local trainers to ensure that teaching and training courses are of the highest standard.
  • Support the Head of School in ensuring that all trainers and trainees receive the necessary training and support.
  • Collate and act on feedback from courses to improve the quality of teaching and training.
  • Develop and implement shared learning opportunities to increase effective inter-professional working across the school.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate Certificate, Diploma or Masters in Medical Education.
  • Trained and experienced in recruitment, selection and equality and diversity.
  • Experience in Recruitment at a national level.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
