Caregiver Support Specialist

Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council is seeking a qualified Adult Care Assistant to provide personal care, emotional, and practical support to individuals with identified care and support needs within a Registered Care Home setting.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £25,584 - £27,711 per annum pro rata, which equates to £13,828 - £14,977 per annum for 20 hours. This role also offers the opportunity to work in a homely atmosphere, promoting the rights, dignity, diversity, independence, and wellbeing of individuals.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, emotional, and practical support to individuals with identified care and support needs.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment that enables supports and promotes the wellbeing of individuals.
Requirements
- Able to provide evidence of qualifications specified as essential.
- Ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
