Job Description

Job Title: SEN Service Lead - Interim Manager

Job Summary:

The Venn Group is seeking an experienced SEN Service Lead to oversee the SEN Placements and Phased Transfer processes for the SEND department of a London Borough. As an Interim SEND Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 11 members and ensuring the smooth transition of services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 11 members in the SEN Placements and Phased Transfer processes
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and efficiency
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Monitor and report on team progress and performance

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and management experience in a SEND team
  • Excellent knowledge of the Children's and Families Act and SEND Code of Conduct
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
