Job Description

**Interim SEND Team Manager Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced Interim SEND Team Manager to oversee the SEN Placements and Phased Transfer processes for the SEND department of a London Borough.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 11 members, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of SEN Placements and Phased Transfer processes.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the SEND department.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination across the department.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading a SEND team, with a strong understanding of the Children's and Families Act and SEND Code of Conduct.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
