Due to ongoing growth, there is a need for a skilled QUANTITY SURVEYOR / SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR to become part of the operations team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Quantity Surveyor, reporting directly to the Commercial Director, your duties will include providing guidance on contract terms and commercial issues while ensuring precise financial management systems are in place. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Understanding contract details to enhance profitability.
- Developing, presenting, and finalizing budgets while tracking actual performance against these budgets.
- Proficiently applying relevant financial procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes for materials.
- Assisting Contracts Managers with project and commercial objectives.
- Generating monthly cost and value projections.
Candidate Requirements:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying.
- Proven experience in the construction sector.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
