We are recruiting for a Support Worker role in our Weymouth team, with opportunities for career progression and development.
As a Senior Support Worker with Autism Unlimited, you will be a key member of our care team, providing day-to-day support, guidance, and direction to your colleagues. You will work closely with the person we support, promoting their growth and maximising their potential.
This is a full-time position, requiring 39 hours per week, including alternate weekends and sleep ins (sleep ins receive an additional payment). You will need to be comfortable with personal care and hold a valid driving license, with access to your own vehicle, as public transport is not an option.
The ideal candidate will have Level 3 Social Care or equivalent qualifications, experience working with autism, and experience managing challenging behaviour. Strong communication and administration skills are also essential.
You will have the opportunity to complete an accredited qualification once you've passed your probation period, and access to an internal learning portal to develop your skills and knowledge. We offer a generous employee referral scheme, cycle to work scheme, up to 33 days annual leave pro-rata, and benefits portal offering discounts and cashback on various services.
A rewarding job with Autism Unlimited offers a variety of tasks, ample opportunities for professional growth, and an inclusive environment that prioritises staff well-being. Our comprehensive induction program ensures your smooth integration into the team, featuring training, shadowing, coaching, and mentoring.
