Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SEN Mediation and Tribunal Officer to join our team at Achieving for Children.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, managing, and engaging the Mediation and Tribunal processes, including the occasions where views differ and resolution is needed. They will work closely with the SEND Team, Social Care, and key partners such as Health colleagues and Education providers to achieve this goal.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent qualification, and significant experience in SEN. They will also possess highly developed problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation abilities, and exhibit strong interpersonal skills.

We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 - £43,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 29 days annual leave, increasing to 33 days after 2 years and 35 days after 4 years, tailored induction sessions, local government salary and pension scheme, flexible working options, comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme, range of staff benefits and discounts, and an excellent learning and development offer to support your career pathway.
