Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage payroll processes, ensuring compliance with relevant labour laws and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Process payroll for employees on a timely basis, including calculating wages, overtime, deductions, bonuses, and other types of payments.
  • Verify timesheets, attendance records, and other related data to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure payroll procedures comply with local, state, and federal labour laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Handle wage garnishments, deductions, and maintain proper record-keeping for tax and audit purposes.
  • Oversee employee benefits such as insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, ensuring correct deductions and allocations.
  • Maintain employee records, including personal details, job information, and attendance.
  • Assist in the onboarding process by setting up new employees in the payroll system.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports for management and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in payroll administration or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of UK payroll systems and HMRC regulations.
  • Strong understanding of employment and labour laws.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy in payroll calculations.
