We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Theatre Manager to join our team at Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital. As a key member of the Senior Clinical Team, you will be responsible for delivering the strategic vision and plan for the theatre department and hospital, while ensuring excellent customer and stakeholder outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Line management for lead practitioners and acting as theatre manager in their absence
  • Participating in and managing the duty lead rota
  • Coordinating theatre staff activities and ensuring 70% clinical duties within the theatre department and 30% administrative tasks
Requirements
  • Previous theatre leadership experience and skills
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Deputising for the Theatre Manager and coordinating the theatre department as required
  • Good people management and time management skills
  • Excellent computer skills and Microsoft and Excel experience
  • Professional registration with the NMC/HCPC and SFA/ALS experience
  • Strong communication and clinical skills, with a can-do attitude and good creative and strategic skills
