Clinical Lead - Theatres Opportunity

Nuffield Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at Tunbridge Wells Hospital. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for leading and organizing the Clinical/Surgical and Endoscopy team within theatre, ensuring smooth running of the theatre list and organizing booking forms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and organize the Clinical/Surgical and Endoscopy team within theatre
  • Lead smooth running of the theatre list and organizing booking forms
  • Extensive knowledge required for dealing with audits and equipment
  • Manage the rota and ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Work collaboratively and flexibly across the theatre suites to accommodate the service demands of each department
  • Assist in sessions in theatres

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience in surgery/anaesthetics
  • Knowledge and understanding of surgical techniques and associated equipment
  • Good communication and organizational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner
  • Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to lead a team to a shared vision and promote innovation and sustainability
