Job Summary:

We are seeking a Youth Mentorship Coordinator to join our team at a PRU/SEMH setting in South East London. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who have SEMH needs, guiding and supporting them in managing challenges and achieving personal and educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with students who have SEMH needs, providing guidance and support to help them manage challenges and achieve personal and educational goals.">
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support students' social, emotional, and mental health needs.">
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support.">
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to keep them informed about student progress.">

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an SEMH or PRU setting and a strong understanding of the challenges faced by young people with SEMH needs. Patience, resilience, and a genuine desire to help students succeed are essential qualities for this role.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £85-£100 per day, depending on experience. We also offer a supportive and collaborative team environment, as well as opportunities for career progression.

Location and Working Hours:

">

This school is based in Lewisham, near great transport links, and provides an inclusive and dynamic learning environment for young vulnerable people across key stages 3 & 4.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, with a long-term commitment required.
