Job Description:

We're looking for a Technician Scientist Apprentice to join our team. As a Technician Scientist Apprentice, you will support our nuclear research and development by operating process equipment, testing and calibration of equipment, and undertaking investigations and analysis of samples.

You will learn about:

  • Nuclear Operations and Processes
  • Calibrations
  • Measurement and Analysis Methods
  • Conducting Investigations and Tests
  • Assessing Technical Data and Contributing to Technical Reports
  • Developing Presentation Techniques

About the Role:

You will be working at the forefront of the nuclear research and development programme, making a real-world impact. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge, and contribute to cutting-edge projects.

About You:

We're looking for bright, enthusiastic achievers who want to be part of our mission to grow the nuclear industry. You should have a good academic background and be on track to achieving 5 GCSEs 9-4 (A-C) including Maths, English & a Science. You should also be on track to complete, or have obtained, a Level 3 qualification, such as A-levels, or completed an advanced apprenticeship in a STEM-related subject providing the appropriate number of UCAS points for entry to level 5 HE programmes.
