Your RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled Nuclear Engineering Solutions Specialist to support our PES engineering solutions and ensure their delivery meets our organizational objectives in a cost-effective manner. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing pragmatic fit-for-purpose PES engineering solutions that meet our objectives in a cost-effective manner.
- Supporting maintenance activities by implementing and maintaining the PES technical basis of maintenance process across both facilities.
- Assisting with planning for complex maintenance activities based on insight and equipment experience.
- Ensuring all maintenance tasks are clearly briefed, understood, and performed safely and on schedule to ensure safe operation of the facility.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- An Electrical & Instrument Apprenticeship, minimum HNC qualification or relevant experience may be considered in lieu of stated qualification.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of PES, PLC, BMS, DCS, and SCADA systems, including operational and maintenance requirements.
- Strong communications skills, ability to communicate key information with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Programmable Electronic System frontline technical support.
- Ability to demonstrate conservative decision making, even in pressure situations.
We offer a competitive salary, estimated at around £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including:
