Nuclear Specialist Consultant

We are looking for a skilled Nuclear Specialist Consultant to support the delivery of criticality safety assessments within the National Nuclear Laboratory. As a Nuclear Specialist Consultant, you will work with a wide range of teams from safety, technical and delivery within NNL.
You will develop your technical skills and capabilities under the direction and mentorship of senior colleagues. The role involves supporting the technical delivery of projects under the direction of the Criticality Technical Lead and developing your SQEP skills for criticality under the guidance of a mentor.
Our ideal candidate will have relevant experience in criticality safety, safety cases or related technical disciplines, alongside experience delivering to the required time, cost, and quality meeting customer expectations.
Requirements- Degree-qualified or equivalent level of demonstrable technical capability
- SQEP 1-2 with some experience in criticality safety
- Basic knowledge in the specialized field of criticality safety assessment
- Ability to obtain SC level security clearance
