Nursery Room Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Childcare Manager to join our small and well-established nursery in Tadworth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can inspire and role-model to deliver exceptional experiences for children and their families.

About the Role:
  • Develop and implement a program of activities suitable for the age range of children in your room, in conjunction with other staff members.
  • Support all staff and foster a positive team environment.
  • Create engaging activities that cater to each child's stage of development.
  • Maintain a clean and organized room, ensuring toys and equipment are stored correctly.
  • Organize wall displays and rotate them every six weeks to keep the environment fresh and interesting.
  • Encourage creativity by allowing children to take home items they have made.
  • Effectively manage staff, ensuring ratios are maintained at all times.
  • Collaborate with students allocated to your room and their supervisor, sharing knowledge and expertise.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 3 childcare qualification.
  • Excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Ofsted statutory guidance.
  • At least one year of recent relevant experience.
  • Solid knowledge of Safeguarding practices.
