MPJ Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join their team. As a Senior Claims Handler, you will be responsible for handling new claims from inception to hire provision, including initial correspondence to interested parties.

The ideal candidate will have 12+ months experience working in a similar role and be able to communicate effectively with clients, insurers, solicitors, and other parties involved in the process.

The successful candidate will be required to be flexible and support other teams subject to the business needs. They will also be responsible for providing a general administrative service to their management team and establishing working relationships with their fellow team members and referrers.

The role offers excellent progression opportunities, enhanced pension, performance-related bonus, flexible benefits, overtime available, and 29 days holiday.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Dealing with all aspects of new claims, from inception to hire provision
  • Selling Lancaster Gate services to clients and associated parties
  • Communicating with clients, insurers, solicitors, and other parties involved in the process
  • Utilising the case management system to follow up on outstanding issues
  • Arranging delivery of credit hire vehicles from the extensive fleet

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • 12+ months experience working in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to support other teams subject to business needs
