About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales and Service Advisor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while identifying opportunities to upsell and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the lifecycle of customer orders, including proactive communication, delivery, and collection.
  • Utilize a consultative approach to close sales, recommending products and services that meet customer needs.
  • Generate and follow up on open quotations and orders, ensuring accurate data capture and quality standards.
  • Closing sales through persuasion and identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot customer queries and complaints, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience, meeting and exceeding brand standards.
  • Meet or exceed personal and team key performance metrics and targets.
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge to provide customers with accurate information.
  • Behave in a respectful and professional manner, reinforcing the business reputation and brand.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers, resolving queries efficiently.
  • Maintain internal health and safety and corporate governance standards.
Requirements
  • A proven track record of target achievement in an internal sales and customer service role.
  • Passionate and willing to go the extra mile to deliver exceptional service.
  • Innovative and able to think outside the box to meet customer needs.
  • Excellent sales negotiation skills, with the ability to recognize buying signals and close sales.
  • Ensure a positive and polite customer experience, recognizing our commitment to putting customers first.
  • Able to balance a customer-oriented and results-driven approach.
  • Focused on quality and accuracy of data captured.
  • Excellent telephone manner, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Builds rapport with customers and internal stakeholders in a professional manner.
  • Ability to establish credibility, act decisively, and recognize and support customer preferences and priorities.
  • Proactive, high-energy team player, with the ability to work closely with colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident with technology, with working knowledge of MS Office applications, including MS Word and Excel.
