We are looking for a Support Practitioner to join our team at Hft in Sheffield. As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting learning disabled adults to live their best lives.

About the Role:

  • You will provide support and care to individuals with complex health needs and profound disabilities, helping them to achieve their goals and maintain independence.
  • As a key member of our team, you will work closely with colleagues to ensure that each individual receives tailored support and care.
  • You will be responsible for creating a safe and welcoming environment, enabling individuals to feel valued and respected.
  • You will also assist with daily tasks, such as personal care and medication management, while promoting confidence and self-esteem.

About You:

  • A full UK manual driving license is required for this role, as you will need to drive service users on occasions.
  • You will have at least 1 year's experience working with complex health needs and profound disabilities.
  • You will be able to communicate effectively with individuals who have varying levels of ability and understanding.
  • You will be physically fit and able to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
