Clinical Support Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at Lincoln County Hospital. As a Medical Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Orthopaedic Business Unit.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient information
- Manage patient diaries and clinic typing with attention to detail
- Support the team in managing patients through clinical pathways
- Update the Patient Administration System (PAS)/Medway system in a timely manner
Requirements:
- GCSE English Language and Maths Grade C or equivalent
- Typing, Audio and Word/Text Processing skills to RSA III or equivalent knowledge acquired through further experience
- Medical secretary qualifications
- Shorthand minimum 90 wpm
- NVQ III or equivalent
- AMSPAR - Medical Terminology Certificate
- Stage 1 - Management Development or equivalent
- D32/33 Assessor Award or equivalent
What We Offer:
£24,071 to £25,674 per annum (pro rata for Part-time)
