Job Summary:

Caterpillar is seeking a highly skilled Material Planning Manager to lead our global supply chain efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, building a high-performing team, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency
  • Lead a team of materials management professionals, providing guidance and development opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners and external vendors
  • Manage a global supply base, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials
  • Perform data analysis to inform inventory management decisions
  • Coordinate maintenance and support of inventory management software

Requirements:

  • Higher education degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in inventory management or supply chain optimization
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions
  • High adaptability and a solution-oriented approach

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry
  • SAP working knowledge
