As an Inventory Counter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our production material counting processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Count and reconcile production material across all product lines, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support the Cycle/ Test count programs, incoming/outgoing counts, and discrepancy counts.
- Document and audit corrections within the Glovia system, adhering to Corporate and Sarbanes Oxley audit requirements.
- Conduct first-stage inventory reconciliations, including root cause analysis and investigation of transaction history.
- Support the departments' goals to reach the plan by year-end.
- Perform location/stores audits and receipt counting as required.
- Adhere to Caterpillar's Health & Safety policy and safe working practices.
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to pass a maths test.
- Self-motivated with a high level of attention to detail.
- Knowledge of operation and logistic functions, including Glovia systems and logistic transactions.
- Ability to communicate and liaise with all levels of the organisation and work within a team environment.
- Computer literate on Microsoft Office.
- Possess knowledgeable Material Control processes and systems.
