Job Summary:

Caterpillar is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Counter x2 to join our team. As an Inventory Counter x2, you will be responsible for the accurate counting and management of production materials across all product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Count and manage production materials across all product lines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support the Cycle/Test count programs, incoming/outgoing counts, and discrepancy counts.
  • Document and audit corrections as required within the Glovia system, adhering to Corporate and Sarbanes Oxley audit requirements.
  • Conduct first-stage inventory reconciliations, including root cause analysis, transaction history investigation, and liaison with PD/Engineering.
  • Support the departments' goals to reach the plan by year-end.
  • Perform location/stores audits and receipt counting as required.
  • Adhere to the company's Health & Safety policy and safe working practices.
  • Adhere to Caterpillar's Values in Action: Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, Teamwork, and Sustainability.

Requirements:

  • Excellent level of literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to pass a maths test.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of operation and logistic functions.
  • Knowledge of Glovia systems and logistic transactions.
  • Ability to communicate and liaise with all levels of the organization and work within a team environment.
  • Computer literate on Microsoft Office.
  • Possess a knowledgeable Material Control processes and systems.
