Business Development Specialist

Ryft is a leading Fintech company providing innovative payment solutions for businesses across the UK and EU. Our mission is to simplify complex payments and drive growth in the FinTech sector.
This role is an excellent opportunity to join our business development team and contribute to our success. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and further developing your sales skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with decision makers and understanding customer needs
- Deliver sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals, communicating effectively with C-suite executives
- Propose solutions based on client needs, supporting the commercial team in executing sales initiatives
- Collaborate with non-commercial departments to ensure clients have a seamless experience from initial meeting to becoming a Ryft client
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 12 months minimum experience as an Account Executive or similar
- Proven track record in B2B sales, including selling complex products with a longer sales cycle (3 months +)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with experience using CRM systems to track progress
Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience. The salary includes base pay and commission payments.
Location: Manchester, with flexible working options available.
