Maximus is seeking a skilled Nurse to work as a Clinical Assessor in Sheffield. This role involves conducting assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.
About the Job
The successful candidate will use their clinical expertise to produce detailed reports that help determine a person's eligibility for benefits. With regular feedback and supervision, you will develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.
- Produce Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions determine a person's eligibility for benefits.
- Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with the support of regular feedback and supervision.
Requirements
- A valid NMC registration number.
- At least one year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience gained within or outside of the NHS.
- You must have the right to work in the UK – we cannot offer sponsorships.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.

Salary Details
