About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Urgent Treatment Centres team. As a key member of our multi-professional team, you will be responsible for assessing health and clinical needs of patients, undertaking consultations, and using your advanced clinical practice skills to diagnose, treat, refer or discharge patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead clinical teams and provide clinical advice and mentorship to junior staff
• Conduct consultations with patients, taking comprehensive patient histories, and using expert knowledge and clinical judgement to identify potential diagnoses
• Decide on and carry out treatment, including prescribing medicine or referring to primary or secondary care specialist services within local agreed pathways and protocols

Requirements

• Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist qualification
• Master's Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
• Clinical skills qualification at degree level
• Evidence of completion of study in minor illness, minor injury, paediatric minor illness, or paediatric minor injury
• Independent prescriber qualification
