Clinical Excellence Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team at Totally. As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting our clinical care teams to enhance capacity and capability within our multi-professional teams.
Your responsibilities will include assessing health and clinical needs of patients, undertaking consultations as an autonomous practitioner, and using your advanced clinical practice skills and clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, refer, or discharge patients.

- Lead clinical teams during shifts.
- Carry out consultations with patients, taking a comprehensive patient history, performing physical examinations, and using your expert knowledge and clinical judgement to identify potential diagnoses.
- Decide on and carry out treatment, including the prescribing of medicine or referring to primary or secondary care specialist services within local agreed pathways and protocols as appropriate.
- Provide clinical advice and mentorship to junior clinical staff.
