Job Title: Clinical Healthcare Specialist

Job Summary
A new opportunity has arisen for a qualified Clinical Healthcare Specialist to provide direct patient care services at Heathview Medical Practice. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care, and we are seeking an individual who shares our commitment to excellence.

Main Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in all treatment and preventative healthcare services in the practice, as delegated and agreed by the supervising GP.
  • Provide direct clinical care to patients, using established clinical guidelines and professional judgment.
  • Recommend and explain appropriate diagnostic tests and treatment options, in collaboration with the supervising GP.
  • Ensure that patients with problems requiring referral to secondary care are discussed with the supervising GP before making such referral.
  • Contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of the team, by maintaining good liaison with other surgeries and agencies, including secondary care.
  • Undertake face-to-face and telephone consultations for emergency or routine problems, as determined by the practice.

The ideal candidate will possess:



  • Qualifications: Registered with the GPHC, educated to degree/masters level in Pharmacy (MPharm/BPharm or equivalent).
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent planning and organisation skills, flexible and cooperative, motivated and proactive, forward thinker.
