About the Role

Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team of caregivers providing complex care services in the homes of service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and clinical care needs
  • Support service users with mobility and moving and handling
  • Monitor and assist with night-time routines, ensuring a comfortable and safe sleeping environment
  • Administer medication as required

Requirements

  • 3 months' previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of Spinal Muscular Atrophy
  • Ventilation Management
  • PEG Feeding
  • Cough Assist

Working Conditions

  • Part Time Days and Nights
  • 2-3 shifts per week
  • 8am - 8pm
  • 8pm – 8am
  • Alternate weekends
