Are you a skilled healthcare professional looking to take on a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Urgent Care division.

This role will see you working in our Urgent Treatment Centres, supporting existing clinical care and enhancing the capacity and capability within our multi-professional teams.

You will be responsible for assessing the health and clinical needs of our patients, undertaking consultations as an autonomous practitioner, and using your advanced clinical practice skills and clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, refer, or discharge patients.

This is a face-to-face role, supported by a variable rota covering weekdays, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

We are part of the Totally Urgent Care Division, which delivers highly successful services within 111, Clinical Assessment Services, GP Out of Hours, and Urgent Treatment Centres nationally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shift lead the clinical teams.
  • Decide on and carry out treatment, including the prescribing of medicine or referring to primary or secondary care specialist services within local agreed pathways and protocols as appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice (equivalent or higher).
  • Evidence of completion of study in paediatric minor illness or willingness to develop these skills.
  • Evidence of study in paediatric minor injury or willingness to develop these skills.
