Motor Claims Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled Motor Claims Auditor to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a Motor Claims Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our claims processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our internal claims processes, new initiatives, best practices, and the impact of inefficient processes on customer service, leakage, and fraud.
- Conduct robust, risk-based audits across these areas to identify areas for improvement.
- Deliver balanced, accurate, and evidenced feedback to leadership and teams, highlighting strengths and areas for development, and providing solutions where required.
- Identify areas for indemnity savings and implement steps to deliver financial benefits.
- Manage root cause analysis for all complaints, including FOS, and recommend improvements to reduce complaints and increase renewal retention.
- Effectively identify, manage, and report risk within your area of responsibility, enhancing the risk management culture within your area.
- Claims experience and sound knowledge across Bodily Injury, with some knowledge across a few other areas, such as Customer Journey, Own Damage, Total Loss, Intervention, Recovery, Third Party Liability, Credit Hire, Bodily Injury (MOJ/Fastrack/Complex), and Household Claims.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, coupled with a proactive approach to work.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret MI and identify areas of risk and opportunity.
