Job Title: Motor Auditor – Vehicle Repair and Engineering

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Motor Auditor with expert knowledge in vehicle repair and engineering to join our team at Aviva. As a Motor Auditor, you will be responsible for motivating and coaching Aviva and external supplier employees to improve safety, quality, and cost performance on motor accident repairs and total loss settlements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for improvement in motor repair and engineering practices across Aviva and external suppliers.
  • Develop and implement coaching and training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of Aviva and external supplier employees.
  • Provide technical oversight and influence on around 200,000 customers' claims with a spend in excess of £0.5bn.
  • Prevent unsatisfactory repairs from being carried out or released and negotiate costs to balance fairness to all parties involved.

Requirements:

  • Highly experienced with expert and current knowledge in the motor repair and motor insurance industry, ATA accreditation is essential.
  • A balanced mindset with strong relationship management and diplomacy skills.
  • Commercially astute with excellent organisational skills.
  • A 'self-starter' with the ability to work autonomously.
  • A competent Audatex user.
