Job Summary

We are recruiting for a Clinical Lead for Workplace Wellbeing to join our Occupational Health team at West Midlands Police.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Counselling or Psychotherapy, with expertise in working with Trauma symptoms and managing clinical standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategies to promote employee wellbeing and resilience across the Force, collaborating with clinical and non-clinical colleagues.
  • Provide expert advice on clinical standards and practice, ensuring safe and effective management of counselling provision.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • A professional qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy, with accredited membership of the BACP/UKCP.
  • Experience of CBT/EMDR or Trauma Focused - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, with a strong background in working with clients presenting with Trauma symptoms.
  • Management experience within Occupational Health practice, including coordination of psychological screening processes.
