PSPA is a UK-based charity dedicated to providing support and information to individuals living with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD).

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Helpline Information and Support Service Coordinator to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will work 28 hours per week, delivering essential information and support to individuals affected by PSP and CBD in Scotland.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering helpline and/or information and support services, with excellent communication skills and the ability to keep accurate records. They will also be comfortable managing difficult questions, emotions, and situations calmly and confidently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored information and signposting to relevant support services via phone, email, and other channels.
  • Raise awareness of PSP and CBD within health and social care across Scotland, offering briefings and education sessions and attending neurology clinics.
  • Keep detailed records and engage proactively with individuals, identifying ways to improve care and services for families affected by these conditions.

The successful candidate will be expected to attend our Milton Keynes office once a month.

Requirements
  • Experience delivering helpline and/or information and support services.

We offer a competitive salary of £26,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including 28 days' annual leave, a pension scheme, and an Employee Assistance Programme.
