Helpline Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Helpline Support Specialist to join our team at PSPA. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing essential information and support to individuals affected by Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD) in Scotland.
The successful candidate will have experience delivering helpline and/or information and support services, with the ability to keep accurate records and communicate effectively with audiences from diverse backgrounds.
This is a part-time, permanent opportunity, working 28 hours per week, with a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum. You will also benefit from a comprehensive pension scheme, employee assistance programme, and 28 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for responding to enquiries via phone, email, and other channels, offering tailored information and signposting individuals to relevant support services. You will also seek to raise awareness of PSP and CBD within health and social care across Scotland, providing briefings and education sessions and attending neurology clinics to support knowledge sharing and expertise.
