Sameday Courier Customer Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Coordinator to join our Sameday Courier team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide world-class customer service to our top 15 clients, ensuring service level targets are met and exceeded.
- Liaise with the Logistics Team Manager and Sales Team to maximize spend from all customers.
- Conduct weekly reviews of customer sales analysis, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Manage the distribution of customer care calls to coordinators, ensuring maximum customer relations and spend.
- Take the lead in proactively following up quotes, enhancing sales and customer relations.
- Secure new business opportunities using commercial awareness and competitive rates.
- Work closely with the sales function to increase active customers and ensure onboarding processes are followed.
- Handle complaints promptly and effectively, escalating to management as needed.
- Ensure all leads are followed up immediately and added to the new business spreadsheet.
- Coordinate POA order requests to meet customer expectations while maintaining GP targets.
- Negotiate fair and reasonable costs for drivers and suppliers.
- Qualify customer enquiries to ensure correct insurance levels are in place.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer service or similar role (B2B) from a Sameday Courier or Time Critical Logistics environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a small team.
- High level of attention to detail and process orientation.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Confident and competent in inbound and outbound business phone calls.
- Effective communicator, both written and verbal.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
