Customer Service Coordinator - Sameday Courier

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Coordinator to join our Logistics Team at Freight Personnel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide world-class customer service to new and existing clients, ensuring service level targets are met.
  • Liaise with the Logistics Team Manager and Sales Team to maximize customer spend.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of customer sales analysis, highlighting negative trends and escalating to management as needed.
  • Manage customer care calls, ensuring maximum customer relations and spend.
  • Proactively follow up on quotes, securing new business and enhancing customer relations.
  • Secure competitive rates and sell the high service offering to clients.
  • Handle complaints promptly and effectively, escalating to management as needed.
  • Ensure all leads are followed up immediately and added to the new business spreadsheet.
  • Coordinate POA order requests, meeting customer expectations while maintaining GP targets.
  • Negotiate fair and reasonable costs for drivers and suppliers.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years' experience in a customer service or similar role (B2B) in a Sameday Courier or Time Critical Logistics environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team.
  • High level of attention to detail and process orientation.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Confident and competent in inbound and outbound business phone calls.
  • Effective communicator - written and verbal.
