Customer Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Coordinator to join our Freight Personnel team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide world-class customer service to our top 15 clients, ensuring service level targets are met.
  • Liaise with the Logistics Team Manager and Sales Team to maximize spend from all customers.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of customer sales analysis, highlighting significant negative trends to management.
  • Manage the distribution of customer care calls to coordinators, ensuring maximum customer relations and spend.
  • Take the lead in proactively following up quotes to enhance sales and customer relations.
  • Secure new business opportunities using commercial awareness and competitive rates.
  • Work closely with the sales function to increase the number of active customers.
  • Handle complaints promptly and effectively, escalating to management as needed.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years' experience in a customer service or similar role (B2B) in a sameday courier or time-critical logistics environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team.
  • High level of attention to detail and process orientation.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Confident and competent in inbound and outbound business phone calls.
  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal.
