Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our client, a global supplier of consumable DIY products.
The successful candidate will be responsible for calling on trade and wholesale customers, as well as distributors and end-users. This includes developing new and existing business, checking stock levels, and assisting in-store promotions and merchandising.
Key responsibilities:
- Calling on trade and wholesale customers
- Closing deals with distributors and end-users
- Developing new business opportunities
- Checking stock levels to ensure timely delivery
- Assisting in-store promotions and merchandising
- Product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our products
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least one year of sales experience
- Strong knowledge of the DIY sector and its trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A full UK driver's license
- A degree in a relevant subject (although not essential)
