Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our client, a global supplier of consumable DIY products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for calling on trade and wholesale customers, as well as distributors and end-users. This includes developing new and existing business, checking stock levels, and assisting in-store promotions and merchandising.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Calling on trade and wholesale customers
  2. Closing deals with distributors and end-users
  3. Developing new business opportunities
  4. Checking stock levels to ensure timely delivery
  5. Assisting in-store promotions and merchandising
  6. Product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our products
The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least one year of sales experience
  • Strong knowledge of the DIY sector and its trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A full UK driver's license
  • A degree in a relevant subject (although not essential)
