Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fabric Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd. As a Fabric Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering a range of building fabric services, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating, and patch repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a high-quality building fabric service, including:
    • Minor plumbing repairs and maintenance
    • Carpentry and joinery work
    • Painting and decorating services
    • Patch repairs and maintenance
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication, ensuring clients are kept informed of developments and progress
  • Record and maintain accurate records of activities, remedial works, and inspection logs
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Utilize IT systems to record tasks and updates, and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facilities management, a trade scheme, or a related field
  • Background in the building services sector or a similar industry
  • Basic electrical and/or plumbing skills, with the ability to carry out fabric repairs
  • Physical fitness, with the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
